You may be asking what does this have to do with the workplace or employees. Well, it has a lot to do with both. Keeping our employees engaged is the key. And providing them with useful resources is an important ingredient for this.
For many of us, especially those in and around the Midwest, floods become a very real possibility at this time of year and they can be devastating. There is often insurance coverage but I have found that this can sometimes be very difficult to understand. So, you can go to the FEMA site and get a lot of information on the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) or for a short summary you can got to the Dasco Insurance Agency for a short summary. It is best to find the answers now, before any flooding leaves you high and dry wet.
